I surrender to You, Lord.Father, my God, my Only-

I sit at your feet worshipping

Your presence surrounds me

My all belongs to You, Lord.

My King, the Holy one-

You lift me upon mountains high;

set me down within Your hope.

I am surrrended to You, Lord.

Abba Father, my beginning and end-

Eternity laid out before me

Forever I will worship the Lamb.

Band-Aid

I rail against the edges,
the fringes of society
that choose to ignore
every warning of a world
gone mad-

The answers sought are not
for the weak of heart, or those
riding the proverbial fence;
their splinters leave
me bleeding-

I choose only to wait
in an active state, standing
firm in love; proactively strong,
my band aid seeks salvation
for all-

One Little Stone

From her dresser she placed
one little stone
in the palm of her hand,
tears fell
as her head she bowed,
Oh Lord, each day
I am thankful that
You took this stone
which once like my heart,
was coarse, and unclean,
weathered by life,
shined it with your love,
made it smooth,
rounded the edges
which once bled shame,
into this gleaming gem
You call Your own.

Sanctified

By which we are sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.. Hebrews 10: 10

On a cross on a desolate hill called Calvary,
Christ, with two sinners at His sides,
one on the right hand, the other on the left;
three bound to be crucified together,
the Son of Man still beseeching the Father;
“Father, forgive them;for they know not what they do.”
One sinner spoke against the Son of God,
begging for his life but mocking Him the same,
the other said Lord, remember me.
Jesus spoke and said to him, “Verily, I say unto thee,
To-day shalt thou be with me in paradise”.
As the sun departed, the blood of the Lamb shed,
One died for eternity, two died but lived -
His mercy and grace bestowed upon our heads.
